I've seen AI & automation completely eliminate jobs. All too often it also doesn't deliver on the promise of efficiency and growth. These are the 3 elements you need to effectively implement AI and automation into any team and process (with sample prompts)
1. Make it specific
The biggest mistake we see when trying to implement AI into a new environment is not being specific enough about what you want the AI to do. Like the prompt below, be specific about what you want the AI to do for you.

I want to learn how to master pour-over coffee. But I am a complete novice and don't where to start. Help me break down this goal into small tasks that I can habitually do every day for 5 mins a day.

2. Make it detailed
What's the difference between specific and detailed? Detail is more about the background and reasoning about why you're requesting this task. More context helps the AI respond in a way that's more relevant to your needs. You can see the prompt below provides a reason for the request.

I'm looking to buy the best robot vacuum. I'm spending way too much time vacuuming the carpets so I want a way this automatically happens. What features should I specifically look for? My budget is $500. Provide a response in an ordered numbered list from the most important features at the top to the lowest at the bottom.

3. Show the areas where it can experiment
Having said all that, you also want to give the AI the freedom to be creative, but within guardrails. Notice how we're encouraging the AI to come up with ideas but giving them very specific guidelines.
